Internal Key Account Manager

Relationship building, category development and win-win solutions

As Key Account Manager at Vidinge Grönt the main criteria of success is to increase sales and gross margin for both Coop Danmark and Vidinge Grönt. One of Vidinge Grönt’s major customers is Coop Danmark. In order to develop the already established positive relationship with Coop, the two companies have decided that Vidinge Grönt hires an internal Key Account Manager who will be located at the Coop headquarters in Denmark. The new Key Account Manager will work closely with the Coop Account Managers to develop the fresh cut vegetables and fresh meal categories, and will report to the Chairman of the Board at Vidinge Grönt who also is functioning as the Commercial Director at Vidinge Grönt. Royal Vezet is one of the owners of Vidinge Grönt and you will therefore also be selling their products.

You will be responsible for the sales of fresh cut vegetables, fresh cut fruit, fresh meal salads, fresh pizzas and fresh meals to Coop Danmark. You are responsible for developing new products, designing packaging material and creation of a customer map. Further, you will be responsible for analyzing the current product portfolio and optimizing waste and eliminating out of stock issues.

Your main tasks:

  • Increase sales and gross margin for both Coop Danmark, Vidinge Grönt and Royal Vezet
  • Develop new products and coordinate new product launches
  • Develop and execute strategic category plans
  • Identify fresh cut market trends
  • Map the competitive landscape
  • Collect and process market share information
  • Develop new business cases

Your qualifications:

  • You know how to drive sales, develop business and have at least three years of experience in FMCG and preferably within the food industry
  • You have a natural flair for sales and cultivating of professional relationships
  • Ability to develop business plans and in-depth market analysis
  • Master or bachelor degree preferably within business
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) in Danish and English

You are a person with the ability to create positive relations and continuously expand your network. You have the ability to influence decisions and create win-win situations. You have good negotiation skills while ensuring that relations are kept intact. You have the ability to work alone, are motivated by analytical work and have a profound interest in food.

Vidinge Grönt and Coop offer the opportunity to have a major impact on the development of a growth category. You will get the opportunity to work in an international environment while on a daily basis interact with a major corporate company.

Travelling: At least three days per week, you will be stationed at the Coop Danmark headquarters in Albertslund. Once per week you will be working out of the Vidinge production facility in Teckomatorp, Sweden. Frequently you will have the opportunity to visit the Royal Vezet production facility in Holland.
